Rincon, the “Queen of the Coast,” is located between Santa Barbara and Ventura and is known as a surfer’s paradise.
The State Beach at Rincon Point is home to the Rincon Classic each year in January and draws such infamous surfers as Kelly Slater and Tom Curren as well as the many who simply come to watch them take to the water and catch the many well-formed waves.
Rincon is Spanish for “angle” or “corner” and one of mainland America’s top surfing destinations. Rincon is also home to very luxurious beachfront and ocean view properties. There is a gated residential community that occupies most of the Rincon beachfront and offers the relaxed life many are hoping to find along the water.
Referenced in The Beach Boys classic song from 1962, Surfin’ Safari, Rincon is truly world class. Explore more and discover what has made this place so special for many generations and counting.
